1960s Fucshia Mohair Sweater
Can you guess my favorite thing? Handknit sweaters. Especially the truly one-off unusual knits like this where you can be fairly certain that no duplicate exists on planet Earth. The genius who worked her fingers to the bone creating this delightful jumper decided on bright fucshia mohair as the centerpiece, with a bold, almost collegiate V that extends out the length of the sleeves. Variegated purple yarn alternates with black at the base and hips, and it’s topped with a softer rose pink at the shoulders and open, relaxed cowl neck because pink looks wonderful against most complexions. Yes, it does.
Measures 40” bust, 28” length.
Excellent condition.
