Classic and timeless black dress in heavy silk faille with wonderful attention to detail. Rounded shawl collar, cummerbund style waist, hidden pocket on the right, 3/4 sleeves are pleated at the elbow. Hourglass shaped center front panel is cut from a single piece from the shoulders to the princess seamed bust, narrower at the waist, then flares out to mimic the A-line of the skirt portion. It's punctuated in center front with covered buttons that sit atop faux bound buttonholes - the real opening is the metal zipper up the back. There's also a bit of tulle underneath at the waist, to give a little lift the the hips. No designer's tags, but there is a tag from the boutique "Nelly Gaffney, San Francisco."

Measures 36" bust, 26" waist, 38" hips, 45" length.
