I’ve been collecting and selling vintage clothing for more than 20 years, and have a background as a seamstress, costume designer, fashion stylist, performing artist, visual artist, and business manager.

Who is Daisy Fairbanks?
She’s actually the name of a charm & etiquette teacher whose classes were attended by my mother and grandmother in the early 1960’s. She held evening teas for women, and offered instruction in such topics as how to set a table, coordinate your wardrobe, and how to walk through a door like Donna Reed. Her classes became part of the family lore – how the women in my family strived for perfection and failed – hilariously but with certain flair. We’ve often wondered what became of Ms. Fairbanks.
